Trent-Severn Waterway on a Sailboat

Alexei speaks about how he and his wife motored though charming Trent-Severn Waterway on route to Lake Ontario and their home bay of Aquatic Park Sailing Club, showing beautiful images taken along the way. He will tell about sailboat preparation for canal sailing and unforgettable experience going through unique locks including the Marine Railway. Moving through the Waterway required some patience but was rewarded by visiting small towns and uninhabited locks. They admired the workmanship of canal builders and the preservation of riverbanks along the way. There were places for dining as well as for fishing. He will also discuss how to make the boat once again suitable for sailing through Lake Ontario at friendly Canadian Forces Sailing Club and it’s helpful fellow sailors.
