Risk Free Boating

Join Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons, and navigate your way through a variety of boating challenges! All boaters are welcome to gain hands-on experience, and learn new manoeuvres, without the risk.

Scenarios include:

• Departing the Dock
• Working with Spring Lines
• Fairways
• Pivot Turns
• Moorings
• Docking
• Slalom
• Crossing/Overtaking/Meeting
• Emergency Stops
• Variable Winds
• Strong Currents
• Day and Night
• Towing and Man Overboard

Experienced instructors will also teach you about aids to navigation, pre-departure checklists, guest muster drills, VHF/DSC radio operation, anchoring techniques, and how to deal with emergency situations.
