New Boater Seminars

Presented each day, seminars on how to buy your first boat - this seminar reviews working with dealers or brokers, the benefits of getting a marine survey and what to do, why and when to get marine insurance, vessel licensing, education opportunities, required operator certification for powered vessels, and the use of marine radios. Lots of time for questions!

CPS Boating Skills Virtual Training – Risk Free Boating

Navigate your way through a variety of simulated boating challenges with help from Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons!

Instructors will teach you about aids to navigation, pre-departure checklists, guest muster drills, VHF/DSC radio operation, anchoring techniques, and how to deal with emergency situations.  State-of-the-art boating simulator technology teaches you how to deal with a variety of scenarios.
